IPCop is a firewall distribution based on the 2.4 kernel, it was forked] from SmoothWall.

IPCop contains:

• squid - proxy / cache
• snort - intrusion detection
• wondershaper - Bandwidth management

IPCop:

• supports DSL and cable modem Internet connections,
• provides DHCP client for Internet interface
• provides DHCP server for network interface
