Loki Games (official name Loki Software Inc.) was a Linux games company from 1998 until 2002, when it was shut down. It was responsible for the porting of many Windows games to Linux, including Civilization: Call to Power, Heroes of Might and Magic III, Kohan, Railroad Tycoon II, Quake III Arena, Rune and Simcity 3000 Unlimited. Many of these games' source code has been passed on to other organizations, and some is still obtainable, despite the company being defunct. Perhaps the company's most enduring legacy, however, is the Loki Installer, which is used by several free linux games as an installer today. This, and other examples of Loki's code, is available from Icculus' Website.
