Morphix is another Live CD distribution based on Knoppix. Morphix is modular; this means that it consists of a number of parts which together form a working distribution.

As the cd doesn't have any harddiskspace to use, RAM is often the limiting factor. Even more confusing, is that different modules have different requirements. LightGUI has the lowest requirements, Gnome and KDE need more.

Morphix can be easily installed to the hard disc if the need be. It is only some 190MB for a complete image with icewm.

Morphix is still in the developmental stage.
