Nvu is a HTML editor based upon Mozilla Composer (HTML editor included with the Mozilla browser suite of applications. Additional features have been added to Composer to provide powerful functionality to advanced users, though making an excellent HTML editor for begginners (e.g.with WYSIWYG editing), most notably the FTP site manager and CSS editor.

The project was begun by Lindows to provide easy HTML editing on a Linux desktop
