Site CReation and Editing EnvironMent

SCREEM is a multi language tool designed for creating and editing website scripts. There is built in support for maintaining an existing site, including Version control and remote upload by FTP.

Currently SCREEM requires the Gnome-libs to be installed, but according to the Official Website the development team are working on removing that requirement, making SCREEM independent of any Desktop environment.

SCREEM is not a wysiwyg tool, it is strictly a code view tool. While it was designed for website work, it is also a fully functional XML editor.
