SPB-Linux is "a small, stable, up to date Linux mini-distribution which runs completely in ramdisk"

Boots from floppy disk, USB Flash disk, CD-ROM, or hard disk.

The basic system gives you midnight commander, support for some network cards, ftp client and server, telnet client and server, a dhcp client.

Current (2004/03/04) 'stable' version 2.0 (based on 2.4 kernel).

Upcoming 2.1 version uses 2.6.3 kernel, includes: - Mozilla Firefox - X and Sawfish - Ntfs support - ACPI support - MPlayer - Java - BusyBox

This distribution is an excellent choice if you need to boot from USB.
