There are several published text books on Scheme and programming available on the net. Start reading "How to Design Programs" by Felleisen, Findler, Flatt and Krishnamurthi. Then read the computer science classic "Structure and interpretation of Computer Programs" (SICP) by Sussman and Abelson.
