Summary
SuperTux is a platform game similar to Super Mario Bros (SMB). In fact, the game borrows many obvious ideas from SMB: the three forms of Tux parallel Mario's three forms (small, big/super, and fireball). A few references to SMB exist as well, such as the "Miyamoto Monument" level, which is a direct reference to Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Super Mario Bros.
Authors: Bill Kendrick is credited as the original developer. A number of other developers are also listed in the credits.
Story
The story involves Tux, Linux's penguin mascot, going on a quest to rescue a female penguin named Penny.
Ports
SuperTux has been ported to several platforms, including Microsoft Windows and to the Sony PSP (the PSP port is a homebrew application, not commercial software).
