Vendor-supplied winmodem drivers are sometimes distibuted without source and --is this-- therefore are suitable for --what was meant?-- i386 only.
seems fine to me. if somthing is distributed wihtout source you can't compile it for CPUs the vendor hasn't built binaries for. If we're talking about winmodems that'll be i386. --Futureleet
