A web page is accessed by a browser to display information visibly on the computer screen to the user.

The browser is coded in such a way that it reads code and displays it visibly. This code is called HTML

A webpage will usually consist of the base elements of text, images and colour. A webpage might also have links to other pages or to a download. Some might have music played in the background, movies, moving pictures or interactive games or tools using java or flash.
