Yum Extender (yumex) is a Fedora Core front-end for the command line package installer and updater Yum. It is analogous to front-ends like Synaptic for Debian's Apt tools.
Since FC4, yumex has been available in Fedora Extras and can be installed by running this as root:
# yum install yumex
