i added the author's name to distinguish it from the normal system beep or 'printf("\a")'.

Couple questions:

first, is this the right place to ask you something? or is there a message link i'm missing

second, was removing the redirect for previous 'beep' -> 'Turn off system beep' ok? I included it in the new beep article in 'see also' because I thought it was still relevant.

i'm discovering there are a lot of programs out there called beep!
