Mail Services are the backbone of E-mail as we know it. The allow us to send it, receive it delete it, forward it, whatever. The 3 most important Mail Services are:

  • SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)
  • POP3 (Post Office Protocol v3)
  • IMAP (Internet Message Acces Protocol)
