This article describes how you download the content of a mediawiki. This makes it possible

  • that you can read the content offline
  • that you have a backup of your wiki
  • that you can draw a mindmap of your wiki as I do here

Command

Get all "normal" pages from wiki.linuxquestions.org: 

wget --domains=wiki.linuxquestions.org --reject="*\?*" \
	-r http://wiki.linuxquestions.org/wiki/Special:Allpages
