Helix Player is a fully open source (GPL/RPSL/RCSL) media player. Part of the Helix architecture. It supports several formats, including:

  • SMIL
  • RAM
• Image formats
  • JPEG
  • GIF
  • PNG

More formats are supported in RealPlayer, which contains a superset of functionality to Helix Player.
