ISO 9660

ISO 9660 is a filesystem standard defining for CD and DVD media. It is the most common format for CDs.

Mounting ISO 9660 images

You can mount ISO images, and browse their contents through the file system.

$ mount -t iso9660 your.iso directory_to_mount_on -o ro,loop=/dev/loop0
