Pine

PINE stands for Program for Internet News and Email. Pine Is Not Elm. Pine is a curses-based email client written by the University of Washington. It is simple and easy to learn, and its major commands are always displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Pine uses the text editor Pico to compose email messages.
