Presentation software is software that displays, usually by means of a set of slides, information about a given topic for a large audience. Presentations can have various forms of multimedia embedded and the finished product re-distributed. Presentations are then displayed usually by means of an LCD projector. The current market leader is Microsoft Powerpoint. The leading open source solution is OpenOffice.org's Impress.
