swat is short for Samba Web Administration Tool. Swat is a web based configuration tool for samba over the web. Swat is started from xinetd and may be accessed from any browser like:

 http://machinename:901

Intallation of swat on redhat/fedora:

 yum install samba-swat 
 service xinetd start
 chkconfig swat on
