Talk:LILO

Is the line about LILO being 'replaced' really necessary here? What some distros choose to ship as their default doesn't really have anything to do with the tool itself.

It's good to know what the other programs in the category are - GRUB also has a link back to LILO.

Hm. Granted. But all one sided. In LILO, GRUB "replaces" LILO and in GRUB, GRUB has "several advantages" over LILO.

How about "GRUB has been substituted for LILO in many..."?

Sounds fine to me. I didn't put that 'GRUB uber alles' crap in anyway, and I still use LILO at home. :)

'GRUB uber alles.' *g* My mistake - I hadn't examined the names and changes closely and just figured since you'd answered, you'd written it. Well, I'm going to go ahead and do that - seems neutral enough to me.
