Talk:Pidgin

Is it really necessary to have a link to Gadu-Gadu? I had hoped that just adding that "the protocol is popular in Poland" would be enough. There doesn't exist a Gadu-Gadu page (at least not yet), and it seems like such an obscure protocol that it shouldn't warrant having its own page, let alone a link to a non-existent page.

MikeCapone, if you know about Gadu-Gadu, would you be willing to create a description page for it? If not, I'd sure prefer to not have a dead link lying around.

I'm not editing the article directly incase I'm wrong but I think GAIM is also the top messaging client for google talk on Linux. Unless you don't want to list it for some reason. Google's set-up instructions--Stex 09:49, Feb 10, 2006 (EST)

I think this is a bad article - all you write here could also go to wikipedia. And such basic things like "how do I start a chat" are not covered here - I have been trying for an hour to start a chat now on pidgin, it is not trivial --ThorstenStaerk 08:16, September 7, 2008 (UTC)
