  • onebuck: I think we're getting a good start now. I believe the 'STABLE' should not just be for the current release stable but for stable versions. I broght together the 'fixes'. Also removed the 'Slackware tag.
  • onebuck: I've made some changes within [Stable]. Consolidate 'fixes', expand versions specific. I believe that announcements should have inclusion for each of the stable versions that are too be included. Not saying all versions but to at least start at 13,12.2 and 12.1. Loads of people are still using even older versions. So we should look from that perspective. I feel we should not make this wiki for 'Current Stables' but the ones that people are using. Sure 13 is the new boy therefore should be at the top and descend to others. I'm sure we'll tweak this many times. I move into the other areas later. I hope we can communicate via this discussion list so that we don't run over each other.
  • onebuck: Typo corrections and link correction in x86_64 geeneral. I started another wiki page Slackware-Cellar to be used for user system setups, recipes or just plain sharing of hardware/system configurations for Slackware users. The 'Cellar' to me has always been a place of creation via Hardware interfacing, Computer hardware or OS development/use. So the tag seemed to be associative. I'm sure there will be some that will look as this as a negative but I've done some of my best work in the cellar. :) Besides my better half always has me in the dog house or cellar. :) 'pwc101', I've got a partial good day available so I'm spending the day doing farm work. Later in the evening is possible but I've got some emails & threads that need attention. You probably have looked at uppman's post. What do you think about his suggestion? I think the tagging idea is a good one. I still think a lot of people don't get the real idea behind this wiki. I don't think brewing but solutions should be the original intent.
