How in the world would a swap file fragment my file system ? And how do you spread a partition over disks ? You can spread a lun over several disks, but not a specific partition. --ThorstenStaerk 06:49, November 3, 2007 (EDT)

If the file system stores changes to the swap file in new areas, rather then overwriting the existing data, it could happen. Tho, i must say, it doesn't seem very likely, or anything to worry about. SciYro 17:11, November 3, 2007 (EDT)
