4dummies, PhD

Recently (2011) retired university lecturer in computer science, mostly systems programming and operating systems.
Pedantry spoken here (punctuation, vocabulary, spelling, etc)
More than half my career was actually writing programs (a couple of small OSen, languages, utilities, and other odds and ends)
Fluent mostly in HTML, C, Perl, Python, Bash, and Expect (not in any order).
