TroubleShooting

It is a common pitfall to work on a computer with a 192.168.*.* IP address and try to access a computer in the internet. This will FAIL because in this case the computer you work on is the server and needs to be reachable from the internet. Whenever your computer is in a private subnet (the IP 192.168.*.* is only one example) your X client in the internet will not be able to reach it.
