Automatic hardware configuration
Configuration of Hardware is done automatically during system initialization in most Linux Distributions. It may also occur automatically when a hotpluggable device such as a USB device is connected or disconnected.

- discover -- A hardware identification library. Also includes a tool for hardware detection at boot-time.
