Automatic hardware configuration

Automatic configuration tools

  • discover -- A hardware identification library. Also includes a tool for hardware detection at boot-time.
  • hotplug -- Linux Kernel-based mechanism to detect and configure hardware
  • kudzu - Red Hat hardware probing tool
