Cramfs

The compressed RAM filesystem is a compressed filesystem that is often used for a initial ramdisk because it can be used by the kernel without uncompressing.

It is also used for embedded Linux devices and when Linux is installed on hand held PDA devices such as the IPAQ.

Cramfs uses the zlib library.
