GPT fdisk is a package consisting of the gdisk, cgdisk, sgdisk, and fixparts programs. It was written by Rod Smith with contributions by Yves Blusseau, David Hubbard, Justin Maggard, Dwight Schauer, and Florian Zumbiehl.

The gdisk programs are tools to create, list and otherwise manipulate GUID partition tables (GPT). The fixparts program fixes some errors and problems that arise on the older MBR partition tables, particularly when a GPT-formatted device is converted to MBR format.
