LQWiki:Protected page guidelines
Main Page and LQWiki:LQ Central are protected pages, and are not editable, except by Wiki administrators. This is to protect the overall structure of LQWiki from careless or malicious editing.
Since users may have good ideas for improving protected pages, each protected page has an editable mirror, e.g, Editable Main Page, Editable LQ Central. The editable versions of protected pages will be periodically synchronized with the protected versions, after backing up the protected versions.
