TDSL

TDSL is ADSL from a German telecommunication company. It works well with Linux. The only thing you have to know is that you do not get a username, you get a connection identifier (like 000123456789) and a T-Online-number (like 520001234567) and a user suffix (like 0001).

If you now want to set up a router with your TDSL account, you may have to supply your router with your username. For that, concatenate your connection identifier, your T-Online-number, your suffix, and the string "@t-online.de". In this example, the username would be 0001234567895200012345670001@t-online.de
