Questions

Will this be done in American English or British English? I am willing to do some transcripts but somebody may need to quickly read over them and look for any obviously non-American things if we do it in that since our Englishes are actually quite different :) Oh, and if translations do go ahead, I can check for inappropriate content in both French and Spanish.

Since LQ is in the US, I'd say mostly American English should be used, but do keep in mind that we are working on having UK episodes also. Jeremy 10:57, Sep 9, 2005 (EDT)

titanium_geek Sep 9, 2005 Well, personally I will be spelling in aussie english (coloUr etc) but of course, if any 'americanisms' are used by jeremy and his team- then we'll chuck em in and not translate them to another flavour of english. I will also **** swear words.

That is fine then, I will just write in British English and if somebody wants to americanise it then they can run it through a US English spellchecker. Now onto how the transcripts will be divided up. How long do you think would be best for each person to do? I can't take on more than 10 minutes at a time at the moment due to school (yes, I am the very much younger generation that people are so often talking about in the forums :)).

I wouldn't really give a guideline. Rip off a piece you think you can chew and then post what you'll be doing - so there is no duplication of effort. Everyone can then take an amount they are comfortable with (which for some might be 5 minutes and for others 30). Jeremy 14:53, Sep 9, 2005 (EDT)

Just a general notice that I've started doing some work on this but I won't be able to do the entire thing on my own - it took me an hour to do the first 6 minutes of a Podcast yesterday. Imagine how long it would take to do an entire 1 hour+ radio show!
