Talk:Linux media

This page is a bit weird, the only link to it is a redirect from media... which itself is only linked from XMMS and Media player. So the link context and the content don't really match :) I guess the redirect needs to be removed and a proper "media" page with a definition of media/multimedia needs to be created in its place. And this "Linux media" page might need a better name to match its content and de-orphaned :/ Jor 14:35, Mar 30, 2004 (EST)

Excellent points. The redirect was left over from a page move from 'media' (which I knew wasn't appropriate) to 'Linux media' which was the best, least cumbersome thing I could think of. 'Linux multimedia documentation' seemed more accurate but... If anyone can think of a better title, go ahead and move it and clean up the autoredirect it leaves behind. I edited some of the other 'docs' articles to de-orphan it and fix their formats and created a lame 'media' article that someone could improve. I think that covers most of it.
