Talk:Text viewing and processing tools

I can't come up with a sharp, logically irrefutable reason why I don't feel perl should go here. It just doesn't, to me. It's already handled elsewhere, along with Python and Ruby and all. Granted, awk is here, but that is The. Standard. Text processing language.

Kind of like ed and sed are here, but emacs isn't.

If anybody feels particularly strongly that it should though, put it back and I'll leave it alone. :)
