- Konro has put back his edits numerous times, making people lose their time. Look at this history :

- Im in agreement with Questynux. It seems this guy is just a clever spammer trying to force their distro down our throats. He should be blocked so we can reverse the spam-like links he has posted in currently 2 separate pages where they clearly don't belong. SciYro 10:24, February 20, 2007 (EST)

- No, my issue was with the back-and-forth insistence without explanation. It just remained me a spammer. In any case, i don't think he should be baned, but at the time it seemed like a good idea to at least block his edits, as they showed no sign of stopping, nore any explanation to support them, despite others reverting them. Ok, let's see...
Someone comes along. This person has never made any contributions of any sort on this wiki. So far nothing special, it's even great in fact. A new comer, some more contributions!

- Here we can see Konro puts his distro link in the Sites with distro lists section, right at the top of the list, which is composted by the way of sites like distrowatch, allinuxCD, etc... Only problem is the link he puts there only lists his cd images... Ok no big deal, any one can make errors in judgement...

- Here Konro puts a link his main site right along sites like AllLinuxCD.com or www.alllinuxcd.com. His link has nothing specific about selling CDs but we get the point that if we look for it we will find a page selling his CDs, or maybe not... By distro advertising, i think we can safely say SciYro meant here ONE distro advertising.

- formating, aarg. This page smells of advertising, i cant find any info on the distros site, must be my browser. Can someone clean this up with real information?
Here SciYro DOESN'T delete his link, instead he puts it in the "external links" section, the way it should. It's true the links to his site don't work, i tried them myself too ( see how this involves time from everyone ) without luck. Only the domain name works.
Here no word from Konro, what does he do ? He duplicates the exact content he has already put in the page Pinux, in the page PINUX ( and user talk page too ). OK he doesn't know about Redirection. No big deal. The most important is to be sure his stuff gets in the wiki, so he pastes it in other pages. Anyway this is not really offensive yet, although one might wonder if he realises how this will be easy to manage two different pages in parallel about the exact same subject... :

- Now this is where this is getting rude. What does he do ? He puts back his link, that SciYro had removed ( right within the list with distrowatch remember ? ). No word. None. SciYro has put forth many contributions lately, is a long member of this wiki. But why should this matter, maybe he didn't check, maybe he wouldn't check, he is the wise man and is on a mission, so he puts back his link right on top, above allinuxCDs. What the hell, those wiki contributors (SciYro) are really a nuisance.

Like SciYro, i am just a worthless wiki lurker, why should he care, why should he wonder what's wrong ? Decidedly those wiki contributors are just annoying bugs. He doesn't say a word. None. Why should he ? We are not worth it. I mean maybe you are right Jeremy, he may be associated with this distro, this is huge, so what does that make us ? not much apparently.

And he is right too, because why would we be spending more time again with this, explaining everything when one could have thought the "Recent events" page was self-explanatory ? Well i guess the fact that you suspect he might be "associated with" a distro makes us wrong, or at least questionable.
I am not sure anyone has pronounced the word Ban in any form, so obviously that would be hard to get a consensus on that, but I still maintain that if this attitude is not countered by appropriate response ( think blocking ), something more than "I have the impression that you might want to help with developing our knowledgebase. If so, stop advertising anything now and start helping on our topics.", well what does that say about the respect, consideration that is given to regular contributors ?
