Talk:Software development
Where is my step by step list?
Please move it to old:software development if you really hate it, I find a list as a great form of finding information, and paragraphs to be clunky here.
I should not have to ask for my work to be backed up, I should not be unhappy that people like the content in a different way, We should be able to have them both. AaronPeterson 23:59, Apr 4, 2004 (EDT)
- Your work is backed up. Click on "Page history" to see all previous versions. The "step by step" list isn't gone anywhere, the title was merely changed - probably because software development does not follow a step by step manner. Dysprosia 00:16, Apr 5, 2004 (EDT)
- general order of things, timeline... and No, the work IS NOT satisfactorally backed up, I'd have to recreate a bunch of formatting... I can't see the page source! I sent a mail to the list, because this appears to be a technology problem, and we'll both be happier if the work is made availabe... till the wiki software changes, know that you can make a copy of the the page and call it old:page naem and then do your merge in a way that backs up the work in a satisfactory manner AaronPeterson 02:32, Apr 5, 2004 (EDT)
It's obvious you can't be bothered to learn how to use this site, and simply want it tailored to your whims instead. As Dysprosia says - it *is* preserved and you can see the page source. It would seem you simply don't know how. Digiot 02:47, Apr 5, 2004 (EDT)
- So tell us how rather than going about saying "I have more power than you so I can of course see the page content from my moderator access and nahnahnahnah"ing. I did not see the page source!!!! Maybe you can, but you are a moderator. ---snide comments ommited, but hinted at, not classy but not nice either... walking the fine line here ---
- My comments have nothing to do with sysop 'access'. They have to do with reading and learning from the numerous resources this site provides. Digiot 04:44, Apr 5, 2004 (EDT)
- Can't... resist... Obviously you are not one of those resources., even though your title and power makes you appear to be one. AaronPeterson 04:53, Apr 5, 2004 (EDT)

Secondly, if you do want to muck around with previous versions for your own use, make a subpage of your username : for example User:AaronPeterson/Software development. Dysprosia 03:03, Apr 5, 2004 (EDT)
Oo, good point Dysprosia
could you populate that page for me? I can't see the source to theose pages, AaronPeterson 04:55, Apr 5, 2004 (EDT)
- There you are. If you want an actual past version, let me know. (I'm a she, btw) Dysprosia 05:04, Apr 5, 2004 (EDT)
- doh, sorry, I was thinking about using the gender neutral pronoun "ve" but went with the more traditional/male chovenistic/not questioning of manhood gender neutral... Thank you.
- actually, I don't see it populated yet (I meant old page copied there, so yes, the actual past version)AaronPeterson 05:14, Apr 5, 2004 (EDT)
