Welcome, fellow recovering noob! Crazyeddie 18:13, Aug 16, 2004 (EDT)

Do you think I do it the right way? --Phobie 19:52, Aug 16, 2004 (EDT)

That wasn't an autopost (I tried to edit this page the same time you did.) Um... We have an English-only policy here... I know it's not your native language, but since none of the moderators and most of the other contributors don't know Deutsch, we don't have any way of editing your work. Maybe if we get enough of a international following we could do a seperate Deutsch area, but until then could you please, please, please post in English? Crazyeddie 19:54, Aug 16, 2004 (EDT)

On this note. Having the LQ Wiki available in multiple languages would be fantastic and is something I think makes sense in the long run. In the short run the english only policy is to ensure that any information in the wiki is not malicious. If you are interested in translating and helping to build the guidelines by which we accept other languages, please contact me. Thanks. Jeremy 20:17, Aug 16, 2004 (EDT)

Ok, for now I have moved them to my namespace User:Phobie and will do normal posts in english. Providing multible languages could be hard, as all posts have to be translated. linuxwiki.org does the work for german users and we do not need this here. Do you know a better place for a privat wiki? --Phobie 21:15, Aug 16, 2004 (EDT)

No, that's about the best place for one. Speaking of http://linuxwiki.org , it would be nice to swap cotent between here and there. But first we have to find out what license they use. Me and the rest of the moderators haven't been able to figure out which one they are using. Could you go to them and ask? Please reply here: LQWiki:Forums. Thanks! Please write in the about section of wiki.lq.org what wikisoftware is used. We use zope and I personaly do not like the usage of that software. If this software supports ldap we could change to it... --Phobie 16:21, Oct 26, 2004 (EDT)

Jeremy is the one you'll have to talk to about that. Me and code don't get along so good. Crazyeddie 16:43, Oct 26, 2004 (EDT)
